Purpose
The purpose of the Finance Department is to provide current and historical financial information to the citizens of Whitman County and to the State of Washington. The Finance Department also provides financial information, assistance, and training for Whitman County departments.
Departmental Responsibilities
● Maintain and update County accounting system
● Maintain (BARS) funds and accounts
● Produce financial, budget and statistical reports
● Internal auditing
● Maintain County's inventory system
